Review of The Winner's Curse

I really enjoyed this book! :D It was so good! I just loved the plot line and the characters, especially Kestrel in the fact that she wasn't perfect when it came to fighting.
One thing that annoyed me straight away was how she fell in love with Arin. I don't even need to put that in spoilers because it's that obvious. But one thing that shocked me was that Arin stayed true to himself no matter what happened with Kestrel. I liked that.
Another thing I didn't like was THE ENDING!!! I mean, come on!!!!! Don't leave me with a cliffhanger like that! I need the next book!
Overall I loved this book. I read 210 pages in one day. This book got me out of my reading slump. I hope other people enjoy it as much as I did! :D

My Review
I really enjoyed this book! I'm glad that I read it in 3 days, because I have other Netgalley books to get read. I loved this book's amount of suspense, action and character development.
My favourite part was when Emmet got through to the Archivist via her Attendant at the end. It made me happy and it wasn't too abrupt and perfect.

One thing I don't like about this book is that sometimes I thought it had too much detail, and some sentences I had to read a few times over to understand them because they were really long.
I like how, in this book, things didn't just randomly happen; they happened with thought and reason. I also like J.E. Alexander's writing style and his description and eye for detail.
I recommend this book to everyone! :D It was fantastic and there was not a slow part in it! :D
